ABOUT THE BOOK

Byavahar aur Paramarth (Worldly Conduct and Supreme Truth) is one of the most practical and spiritually enriching books published by Gita Press. It is a collection of profound insights that bridge the gap between our daily social interactions and our inner spiritual journey. The book addresses the common dilemma: Can a person living in the material world attain God? Shri Hanuman Prasad Poddar provides the answer by explaining that Byavahar (worldly dealings) should be performed with honesty and ethics, while the heart remains fixed on Paramarth (the ultimate spiritual goal). Code 334 is a specific pocket-sized edition, making it a "vade mecum" or constant companion for those seeking to transform their mundane chores into spiritual practice.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Shri Hanuman Prasad Poddar (1892–1971), widely known as "Bhaiji," was a visionary, a revolutionary in the field of religious publishing, and a saintly figure. He was the lifelong editor of the monthly magazine Kalyan. Bhaiji’s writing style is unique—it is deeply scholarly yet exceptionally simple, making complex Vedantic truths understandable for a layperson. He believed that the service of "Janardan" (God) through "Jan" (the people) was the highest form of worship. His life was a testament to the principles found in this book; he managed the massive operations of Gita Press while remaining in a state of constant internal devotion.
