ABOUT THE BOOK
Namal (Urdu for "Ants") is a gripping, multi-layered crime thriller that interweaves a complex murder mystery with profound themes of justice, betrayal, and redemption. Inspired by real-life events, the story revolves around the intellectual battle between the ruthless feudal lord Hashim Kardar and the determined Saadi Yusuf, who seeks to clear his uncle Faris Ghazi's name. The narrative is deeply rooted in Quranic references, specifically Surah Namal, using the metaphor of ants to explore how small, seemingly insignificant clues (and people) can topple giants. It creates a "complex matrix" of legal battles and family politics, challenging the reader to question the true definition of guilt and innocence.
