ABOUT THE AUTHOR 

B Ram, former Professor and Head of PG Electrical Engineering Department, Bihar College of Engineering, Patna (presently, NIT, Patna), and Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Patna University, Patna, obtained his degree in Engineering with distinction from Ranchi University, ME degree from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and PhD degree from Patna University. He has about forty years of teaching and research experience. An author of four books, he has a number of papers in various national and international journals to his credit. He received KF Antia Award, 1969? 70, for the best paper from the Institution of Engineering (India). He was awarded honorary fellowship by National Association of Computer Educators and Trainers in 1996. Sanjay Kumar has long experience, more than fifteen years in computer operation, programming and software development. His specialization is computer software.
