ABOUT THE BOOK 

Spiritual Discourses is a two-volume collection of Maharaj Charan Singh’s profound teachings, presented as discourses (satsangs) delivered to seekers around the world. Volume I contains 19 condensed discourses on core principles like the nature of the soul, meditation, and the role of the spiritual teacher.  Volume II includes eight complete discourses, where he interprets hymns from past mystics and connects them with modern spiritual challenges. Across both volumes, his message emphasizes love, meditation (inner path), self-realization, and unity.  These teachings are rooted in the Radha Soami / Sant Mat tradition and aim to guide both beginners and advanced spiritual seekers.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR 

Maharaj Charan Singh (1916–1990) was the fourth Satguru of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) spiritual lineage. He was known for his clear, simple style of explanation, often using everyday analogies to illustrate deep mystical truths.  He gave discourses all over the world — Europe, North America, Southeast Asia — bringing universal spiritual teachings to a global audience. Under his leadership, RSSB emphasized meditation on the inner Sound Current (Shabd) and a disciplined, ethical life.  He also helped in structuring the organization administratively, establishing a charitable trust and formalizing the society’s mission.
