About the Author

ARTHUR E. POWELL, who was a member of the Theosophical Society in Great Britain, is well known for his scholarly compilations in modern Theosophy. Blavatsky is greater than could ever be indicated'. He was involved in the work of the Theosophical Order of Service and was concerned with the upliftment of the poor.
