ABOUT THE AUTHOR 

Dr. O.B.L. Kapoor (1909–2001), also known by his initiated name Sri Adi Keshava Das, was a distinguished philosopher and a disciple of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur. A scholar of high academic standing, he served as the Head of the Philosophy Department at B.R. College, Agra, and later as a Principal in government colleges. Despite his academic background in Advaita Vedanta, he became a staunch proponent of Achintya Bhedabheda (inconceivable oneness and difference) after meeting his guru. He authored over 30 books in Hindi and English, including The Philosophy and Religion of Sri Chaitanya, effectively bridging the gap between rigorous philosophy and devotional literature.
