THE AUTHOR: RAIMUNDO PANIKKAR (1918–2010)

Cultural Hybridity: Born to a Spanish Catholic mother and an Indian Hindu father, he famously stated, "I left Europe as a Christian, discovered I was a Hindu, and returned as a Buddhist, without ever ceasing to be a Christian."
