ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr. Saeed bin Ali bin Wahf Al-Qahtani (1951–2018) was a world-renowned Saudi scholar and prolific author. He is perhaps best known for compiling Hisnul Muslim (Fortress of the Muslim), which is one of the most widely circulated prayer books in the Islamic world, translated into over 40 languages. A graduate of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, he was a student of the late Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Baz. His writing is characterized by its simplicity, scholarly rigor, and a focus on providing authentic references for every spiritual practice or historical claim he presents.
