DESCRIPTION:

A.R.Bakshi (born in 1907) after having served as Advocate General of the Saurashtra State, was a judge of the Gujarat High Court, and later Chairman of the State Law Commission. He was then appointed Vice-Chancellor of the Saurashtra University. He is a keen student of comparative philosophy, Vedanta, and Kashmir Saivism and is
the author of philosophical works in the Gujarati language. He is a musicologist and distinguished member of the India Section of the Theosophical Society.
