ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Fatima Jinnah (1893–1967) was a pioneering dentist, stateswoman, and one of the leading female figures in the history of the Pakistan Movement. Graduating with a dental degree from the University of Calcutta in 1923, she broke social barriers by opening her own clinic in Bombay before winding up her practice to permanently support her brother following the untimely demise of his wife, Ruttie Jinnah.
