His first book, the Power of Now, reached the no. 1 spot on the New York Times Best Seller list. in 2008, Tolle and Oprah Winfrey conducted a series of webinars, in which 35 million people participated. The Watkins Review, in 2011, named the author as the most spiritually influential person in the world. Eckhart Tolle has been influenced by many spiritual works and he does not follow any one specific religion. The author lives in Canada.
