ABOUT THE BOOK
Song of Humanity (often published alongside The Invasion That Never Was) is a meticulously researched work that challenges the colonial construct of the Aryan Invasion Theory (AIT). Through a holistic examination of archaeology, genetics, literature, and geography, it argues against the idea of a violent invasion or migration that supplanted an indigenous culture. Instead, the book celebrates the continuity of Indian civilization, presenting evidence for a seamless evolution from the Indus-Saraswati era to the Vedic period. It serves as a corrective to historical misconceptions, emphasizing the cultural and spiritual unity of India's ancient past.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Sujata Nahar (1925–2007) was an Indian writer and a devoted disciple of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. Born in Calcutta and raised in the cultural atmosphere of Rabindranath Tagore’s Santiniketan, she moved to the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry at a young age. She served as the secretary to Pavitra (a close disciple of the Mother) and later became the companion of Satprem, playing a crucial role in transcribing Mother's Agenda. She is best known for her multi-volume biography, Mother's Chronicles, which captures the spiritual history of the Mother and Sri Aurobindo.
