ABOUT THE BOOK
Sri Arunachala Stuti Panchakam (Five Hymns in Praise of Arunachala) is a collection of ecstatic devotional poetry composed by the 20th-century sage Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. While the Maharshi was primarily known for his silent teaching and the path of Self-Enquiry (Vichara), these hymns reveal the deep, "heart-melting" devotion (Bhakti) he held for the holy hill of Arunachala in Tiruvannamalai.
Composed between 1914 and 1917, these five hymns are considered the "Five Gems" of modern Advaitic literature, blending the highest non-dual philosophy with intense personal love for the Divine.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Sadhu Natanananda (1897–1981) was one of the most prominent and deeply devoted "Grihastha" (householder) disciples of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. Unlike many who visited the Maharshi for a brief period, Natanananda spent decades under his direct guidance, serving as both a practitioner and a meticulous chronicler of the Sage's teachings.
